Water travels along the battens and the underlay before it shows on a ceiling, sometimes two metres from where it came in. We look for the cause on the roof, where the water gets in.
What is included
- Inspection from the roof and, when accessible, from the loft
- Checks of the usual suspects: cracked tiles, flashing, valleys, chimney, roof windows
- Replacement of broken tiles or slates with matching ones
- Resealing of flashings and junctions
- Photos of the cause and of the repair
Good to know
Most leaks come from a junction, rarely from the middle of a slope: around a chimney, a roof window or where two slopes meet. A local repair usually settles it, and we tell you so when it does.
If the underlay or the battens are rotten, we show you the photos and price the renewal separately. Nothing extra is done without your agreement.
